Use New Tournament Catch on Home for tournament evidence. Capture a photo or video according to the tournament rules, then choose the tournament and complete the measurement. Use Fishing Journal for your personal diary; it accepts camera photos or up to four gallery photos. A Journal entry is not a tournament submission.

Video tournaments require a camera recording; photo tournaments require a camera photo. Follow the measurement card and security code rules shown by your tournament. Gallery imports are for Fishing Journal only and cannot replace tournament evidence.

Ranking is based on the total length of each angler's five largest approved catches — the highest total wins. Weight does not affect ranking. Log each fish with a video on the measuring board in the mobile app; the organizer reviews and approves it.

Organizers review catches as fast as they can during events. If it's been over 24 hours, message the organizer through the tournament chat or use the contact options below.

Entry fees are final sales under the terms shown before payment, subject to mandatory legal rights. Contact the organizer about cancellations or refunds. Cancellation does not itself confirm a refund; only the payment provider’s confirmed status does.

No — joining a tournament in the app is always free for anglers, and COUNT THE CATCH never charges an entry fee. If a specific tournament charges an entry fee, the organizer sets it and anglers pay the organizer directly: we do not process entry payments, we never hold entry or prize money, and we never take a cut of entry fees or the prize pool.
